Christian Sarnecki is a 24-year-old second-generation racer and career auto technician from Plymouth, Massachusetts. He began karting at the age of eight in 2008 and transitioned to Spec Miata in 2019 after retiring from karting in 2016.
In 2021 and 2022, Christian secured SM2 and SM SCCA Regional Championships in the New England Region. His success caught the attention of MBM Performance, which brought him on board to spearhead their newly launched SCCA Spec Miata program for 2023. Driving a 1999 NB1 Miata that he built himself, Christian competed in the 2023 SCCA Northeast Majors Tour.
Despite facing countless challenges, Christian clinched the 2023 Northeast Majors Tour Championship in Spec Miata with an impressive record of 5 wins, 7 podiums, and 1 pole position across 11 races.
The 2024 Northeast Majors SM season proved smoother, with Sarnecki securing the championship before the final round. His season stats boasted 6 wins, 3 podiums, and 4 pole positions in 10 races. Over five years in Spec Miata, Christian has amassed over 75 wins and continues to strive for more.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, Christian aims to continue competing in the Northeast Majors Tour in SM while expanding his efforts to other tracks across the U.S., with plans to race in additional Super Tour and Majors Tour events.
