Justin Gravett began his racing journey in 2024, competing in the Harris Hill Challenge Series at Harris Hill Raceway in San Marcos, TX, located between Austin and San Antonio. The series features Spec Miatas running OEM shocks and DOT tires, offering an accessible entry point into grassroots racing.
In his first year, Justin showed promise by winning both the Challenge Series Championship and the Rookie of the Year award. This was the first time in the series’ history that a driver had managed to achieve both honors in the same season, highlighting his steady performance throughout the year.
Later in 2024, Justin branched out to compete in Spec Miata events with SCCA and NASA. He appreciated the opportunity to race in a more competitive environment and gain experience on different tracks.
For 2025, Justin plans to build on this foundation by participating in SCCA Hoosier Super Tour and Major Tour events. He’s focused on improving his skills, learning from the competition, and seeing how he stacks up against more experienced drivers.
