To qualify for sponsor contingency money, all Spec MX-5 cars must carry the following decals in the specified positions, which are available either as a kit from Mazda Motorsports, or by downloading the vector art:
- Mazda logos on rear fenders and front bumper (may appear on bumper cover or on bumper structure cover plate)
- Toyo Tires logos on front and rear bumper cover corners
- PAGID Racing logos on rocker panels
- Penske Shocks logos on rocker panels
- Roush Performance logos on rocker panels
- AiM Data logos near the rocker panels trailing edge
- Spec MX-5 logos on windshield eyebrow, and rear center bumper cover
- QR code on b-pillars
- Dash sticker, including Spec MX-5 & AiM logos, driver surname, and driver number
- Car numbers must be requested via the SCCA (here)
For consistency, the following guidelines are preferred:
- Optional number plate on front fender
- Note: ideally car minimum weight should appear on the rocker panels directly below the number plate (if used)
- Car numbers on driver’s right side of windshield, center rear section of front fenders
- Driver’s surname on windshield below number
An example of these logos and other decals with approximate placement is shown in this diagram below. For driver convenience, these required decals are available as a kit from Mazda Motorsports (2023 Version: 0000-10-SMX5-WH, 0000-10-SMX5-BK, 0000-10-SMX5-SL). Similarly, vector art is available to download (Black, White, Grey):

Additionally, all Spec MX-5 cars must have the required sanctioning body decals. The SCCA requires 3 decals for each race. These are specified in the SCCA GCR Section 9.3 (here). For both Hoosier Super Tour & Majors races, cars are also required to have 2 (two) event-specific details.
